Mechanical or system engineer

The following points are mandatory :
We are looking for an experienced mechanical or system engineer for our client.
Fully autonomous, he will work from his home and will occupy a key position for the organization.
Essentially, his role will be to assist customers remotely and to do "troubleshooting" over the phone on CNC machine tools used for manufacturing production of steel using the technical documentation available as well as the data provided in the CRM system.

Personal aptitudes
• Mechanical or system engineer preferably member of the OIQ
• Having already operated a CNC machine, a considerable asset
• In-depth knowledge of CNC machines - ideally in the field of steel fabrication
• A functional knowledge of SOPs of the steel manufacturing industry
• Experience in remote troubleshooting on CNC machines preferably
• Ability to write documentation in a clear and concise manner
• Rigor in properly documenting trips to customers and completing in detail of intervention reports
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation - hydraulic, mechanical and electrical
• Ability to physically perform the required intervention work if necessary

• Availability - trips representing approximately 30% of the time
